I’m Laura, a Drama and Movement Therapist and Clinical Supervisor registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

I facilitate both individual and group Drama and Movement Therapy sessions in my private therapy space, located in Downend, in the beautiful and creative City of Bristol.

Alongside over 12 years of experience working both clinically and therapeutically to help people in different settings, such as NHS hospitals, schools, care centres and charitable organisations, I hold a Master’s degree in Drama and Movement Therapy from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (University of London). I have also received further training to provide clinical supervision to other therapists and mental health practitioners.

I opened Bristol Dramatherapy Ltd in July, 2016. Since then I have been privileged to provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults all with very different needs.

“Before I met Laura, I was shy, self-conscious, upset and most of all, super emotional. I was bullied, made fun of, but Laura helped me overcome the unkindness. I figured out I shouldn’t be offended by them. She also helped me over my worries of how I looked. I will be sad to leave her – she helped me so much in life”

Former Client, 10-11yrs old

Being at therapy with Laura was just the best thing that could have happened to me. It was where I felt safe, it was where I felt I could say how I felt without being judged or shouted at. I have no clue where I would be now or who I would be now without her. Laura is the reason I am happy now she is the reason I have an amazing group of friends and I couldn’t thank her enough. I have confidence in myself and being able to speak to people because of going to therapy with Laura. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and she will make you feel like you do actually deserve to have friends and be happy. She makes sure you are happy every single time you are with her in that room. I honestly don’t know if I would be happy now without her and she is truly an amazing person.
