Welcome

I’m Laura, a Drama and Movement Therapist and Clinical Supervisor registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I facilitate both individual and group Drama and Movement Therapy sessions in my private therapy space, located in Downend, in the beautiful and creative City of Bristol.

Alongside over 12 years of experience working both clinically and therapeutically to help people in different settings, such as NHS hospitals, schools, care centres and charitable organisations, I hold a Master’s degree in Drama and Movement Therapy from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (University of London). I have also received further training to provide clinical supervision to other therapists and mental health practitioners.
I opened Bristol Dramatherapy Ltd in July, 2016. Since then I have been privileged to provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults all with very different needs.

My specialities include working with people experiencing:
- Self-Harm and Self-destructive Behaviour
- Anxiety and Stress Disorders.
- Depression
- Eating Disorders
- Intrusive and Negative Thought Patterns
- Self Esteem & Confidence Issues
- Trauma
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- ADHD
- Grief, Loss and Bereavement
Alongside my work with my clients I offer therapeutic workshops and CPD events, and am an associate lecturer in my field.
If you, your organisation or someone you care about is interested in finding out more about the healing aspects of drama and creativity, please feel free to get in touch or book an initial consultation here.
