Please note that my booking system availability does not indicate sessions that are available for booking week-to-week, as Bristol Dramatherapy Ltd allows established clients to book in short-notice if need be. Current availability for new therapy clients can be viewed here.

Life happens, and plans sometimes need to shift. At the same time, for therapy and therapeutic services to remain safe, contained, and sustainable, therapists can only offer a limited number of sessions each week. Because of this, even our more flexible “walk‑in” style services need a little structure around them. This helps ensure that every client receives adequate holding and that the work stays grounded and consistent.

When a session is booked, a specific space and time are reserved for you. If a session is missed, the costs involved in offering that time still remain, even if the appointment wasn’t attended.

One-to-One Appointments: You’re welcome to amend your booking via your Setmore account, or via Laura directly up to 48 hours before your session. Cancellations or missed appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice will still be charged, as the time has been set aside for you.

Group Session Bookings: You’re welcome to amend your booking via your Setmore account, or via Laura directly up to 6 hours before your session. Cancellations or missed sessions with less than 6 hours’ notice will still be charged, as the time has been set aside for you.

If you need to make a late amendment or need to change a session to online at short notice, please contact Laura directly. If a client arrives late, the session will still need to finish at the scheduled time. If the therapist is unexpectedly unable to attend, you will be contacted as soon as possible to rearrange via the contacted details you have provided.

Payment is due on or before the day of your session or service. Cash or card payments can be made at the premises, and online payment is available through the booking page and website.

Therapy Clients can request to be invoiced for sessions if preferred. However, if payments fall into arrears, the therapist reserves the right to pursue the balance through legal means. A late fee of 1.5% per month may be added to overdue invoices (from 14 days after the date of service). Invoices will be sent to all missed payments using the email address provided.

Your privacy is deeply respected. All information is kept in line with GDPR and the Data Protection Act. Nothing is shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except in situations where there are safeguarding concerns or a risk of harm to yourself or others. In these cases, the therapist has a legal and ethical duty to share relevant information with appropriate services.

The therapist keeps brief, appropriate records to support your therapeutic process. If you’d like to know more about how notes are stored and managed, please see our full policies.

Face‑to‑face sessions take place at: The Bromley Therapy & Wellbeing, 73 Quakers Road, Downend BS16 6NH

One-to-One Clients: Please come to the front door at your appointment time and message Laura to be let in. You’ll be shown a private entrance for future visits. Please do not enter the building more than 10 minutes before your appointment is due to start to give adequate time for Laura to prepare between sessions.

All Group Sessions: the front door will be unlocked at least ten minutes before the group begins. Sessions need to start and finish on time to protect the privacy and focus of the spaces we create, therefore late arrivals will regrettably not be permitted to enter once the doors are shut and the group is settled and begun.

Therapy clients are very welcome to bring a chaperone to their initial therapy consultation or for as long as they need to feel comfortable. We have a small waiting area just outside the therapy room, as well as a larger space if you’d prefer your chaperone to wait nearby but out of earshot.

If you’d prefer to meet online or by phone, you’re welcome to request this for any reason. Please attempt to give at least 15 minutes’ notice by phone before your session is due to begin so I can set up accordingly.

A Google Meet appointment will be made automatically upon booking, however please contact Laura directly if you would prefer a phone call, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp Video, or Facetime.

For phone sessions, the client calls the therapist on 0770 332 7330 at the agreed time to indicate that they are ready to begin their appointment.

Confidentiality is upheld online and by phone just as it is in person.

Before starting services with Bristol Dramatherapy Ltd, (after consultations and mutual agreement to work together), participants are asked to read and agree to the appropriate consent form and agreement.

You’re warmly invited to explore my website to explore the services I offer, or contact me directly with any questions.
